the tutorial tips to turn your cartoon character into vector clipart

the pen tool to create shapes

facial features (ie. eyes, eyebrows,
mouth, nose, ears, etc.)

the shape tool and distort using the “white selector” (arrow)

a bolded edge (duplicating shapes and turning them solid black)
